Cicada Studios participated in the 2019 Concord is Creative float in the annual Concord NC Christmas Parade. Eight local artists were selected to participate in creating an original painting while on the float, allowing parade watchers to get an inside look into their artistic process. Cicada Studios was represented by owner and local artist Caswell Turner. She painted a large tiger in honor of the organizer of the event, TuxedoKat Imaginarium.
